Copyright Policy
After submission is accepted, the authors are required to sign a "Copyright Transfer Agreement" to transfer the copyright of the article to the Editorial Office of Journal of Cybersecurity.
Authors (copyright holders) agree to publish the article in Journal of Cybersecurity. Once the article is accepted, the authors will transfer the copyright of the entire article and the attached figures, tables, abstracts, or other parts that can be extracted from the article, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, translation, compilation, etc., to the Editorial Office of Journal of Cybersecurity worldwide. After the article is accepted, the transfer fee will be offset by the article’s review fee, and there will be no fees paid to authors.
Authors’ Rights
Authors agree with the journal’s open access policy. Journal of Cybersecurity is an open access journal and adopts CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. Authors have right to use their articles (such as archived in institutional repositories) in accordance with CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
Archive
The soft and hard copies of each issue are archived in the editorial office. In order to ensure data security, all information has also been backed up in the editorial office. In addition, other relevant materials are also kept by the editorial office, such as supplementary information and forms provided by the authors. The journal’s articles can also be downloaded in full text from databases including CNKI, Wanfang and Weipu. If the journal and the website were closed, archived data could be retrieved through those full-text databases.
Data Sharing
The authors are encouraged to publish or share their research data whenever appropriate. Data sharing is helpful for experiment replication and data reuse. The data for sharing may include original data, observation records, experimental results, etc. The journal also encourages the sharing of software, code, models, algorithms, protocols, methods and other useful materials. The authors can upload the materials above to an accessible third-party repository and make a proper citation or add a link at the end of the article.
