Author Guidelines


Journal of Cybersecurity(CN10-1901/TP, ISSN 2097-3136) is an academic journal governed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and sponsored by China Aerospace Academy of Systems Science and Engineering, published bimonthly, distributed both domestically and internationally. The journal mainly publishes articles on frontier research news, theoretical research, technological innovation, achievement application and other aspects in cyberspace security related fields (including but not limited to internet security, endogenous security, cryptographic theory and application, blockchain and security, artificial intelligence security, data security and governance, software and system security, industrial Internet security, etc.). Submission is welcomed.


 

Article Types:

Review Article: Summarizing and prospecting a certain discipline field, indicating current research hotspots and possible breakthrough directions, exploring feasible future research with strong ideological, forward-looking, and pioneering qualities.

Research Article: Reporting achievements with innovative academic insights in theoretical research, which should have novel viewpoints, clear innovation, and substantial evidence.

Technical Application: Reporting practical achievements with applicational and innovative value in research and development. This type of articles should include methods, perspectives, comparisons, and experimental analysis.

Special Column: Conducting a comprehensive and in-depth report on a new research direction or field through a set of articles, evaluating emerging new technologies and achievements. This type of articles should have prominent themes, accurate perspectives, complete content, and depth.

 

Submission requirements:

1. Manuscripts must be original, academic, scientific, accurate, standardized, and readable.

2. Authors should prepare the manuscripts according to the “Paper Template” on the journal’s official (www.journalofcybersec.com).

3. The wordcount of each article should be within 10000~15000 Chinese characters.

4. Manuscripts shall not involve state secrets, trade secrets, or working secrets, and authors shall provide Confidential Clearance Certificate stamped by the first author's affiliation that approves the publishing of the article.

 

Submission Method:

1. Please submit your manuscript via “Author Login” on the homepage (www.journalofcybersec.com).

2. Authors should read the “Peer Review Process” page on this website to learn about our manuscript processing procedure, relevant regulation, and timetable.

 

Other Requirements:

1. Authors are required to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement and Confidential Clearance Certificate (Download Center) before submitting the manuscript. All authors should sign the document in person and the affiliation of the first author should certify the article is not involved in any confidential breach. After signing and stamping, the document should be scanned and saved in JPG or PDF format, and uploaded to the submission system. Failure to provide a valid copyright transfer agreement will result in the delay of processing and review.

2. Manuscripts with a repetition rate over 10% face a higher risk of rejection, which should be avoided by authors.

3. It should be indicated clearly in the remarks if the manuscript has been returned for revision and is submitted the second time. A revision statement is required.

4. This journal does not charge processing fees or page fees to authors.
